Charleston, South Carolina | SPRING 2026
With shadows from palm tree branches flitting across cobblestone roads, the South Carolina coastal city of Charleston gracefully and effortlessly embodied what I long believed to be southern charm. From the one of a kind churches on what seemed to be every other street corner, to admiring gardens of azaleas, camellias and wisteria on the verge of fully blooming along the way, taking in the elegance of Charleston felt unending. Heading out to one of the many barrier islands surrounding the city, Daniel Island, was also a breathtaking experience within itself—the soft light from the setting island sun as that day came to a close had the likeliness of pure gold.
