I know NYC isn’t for everyone, but for me, it was love at first sight. It’s my second time around visiting the city, and I’ve got to say that you could spend weeks here and still not see everything there’s to see. Even with my second visit, I feel like I had a thousand more things in mind that I wanted to see and do.
Jacob & Eva chose to have the first part of their engagement session at The Petting Farm at Domino’s farms in Ann Arbor! We got there around the time the farm opened, and lucky for us, there weren’t a ton of people around just yet and the animals were friendly as much as they were lively! The main attraction for them had to be the cuddly lamas.
These two are gettin’ married soon! And after I did a holiday inspired shoot for them just for the fun of it, I knew they had some real chemistry. So, to find out they had gotten engaged recently was such great news.
My friend Marlaine and I had to get up at 5 AM to make it to the airport. Everything went so smoothly, even with the longer than usual TSA lines. But the lines went by faster than we thought! One bag check, Starbucks drink and gate change later, we boarded our flight and landed an hour early in Austin. I was so relieved to be coming from a polar vortex and to feel what actual nice late Spring weather felt like when we were in search of our Lyft pick-up location. Along the way I said my goodbyes to the huge bush of cacti growing by a parking garage that I immediately fell in love with and just had to snap a pic of, even after seeing hundreds more like it over the span of my trip.
One of my family’s longtime favorite road trip destinations is Niagara Falls, Ontario. It’s been a favorite of ours since I was little, and to this day I’ve had a vivid picture in my mind of the beauty of the falls and the surrounding area of them. I’ll never forget the tourist attractions of the falls, from the wax museums, haunted rides and arcades to the patriotic and cultural gift shops.
